Wow, it's been a long time since I updated this page. Sorry. ----- Me, Jon, and Alex have been really progressing on composing and rehearsing a slew of material. We still don't have a band name, though. Once we're official I'll make a web site. It's all very exciting being in a new Oakland art rock band. ----- The first Midline Errors CD is completely mixed, and pretty much mastered. Meanwhile, production work on the second CD has already begun. Check out www.midlineerrors.com, by the way. ----- The Dropsy CD is mastered and we finally begun rehearsing again with Jon replacing Mat on drums. ---- Species Being is more or less defunct since Frank is too busy with Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. Frank and I always talk of more shows and recording, but you know how things are. ----- Jenya and I have been rehearsing here and there, finally scraping together songs at a non-zero rate. ----- I've been wasting a lot of time with Immersion Composition Society, which is basically like a drug. I've written more than 100 songs to date.

With Faun Fables and company:
Dawn's throwing together a night of music to celebrate Valentine's Day. It'll be at the Starry Plough in Berkeley the night of Saturday, February 15th. Basically, a lot of people are going to perform cover songs - celebrating the tunes that sparked our first child-like notions of what love meant. I'm going to do a medley of sorts with Jenya, and maybe sit in on some other people's renditions of things. Should be a star-studded evening of hilarity hijinx and emotional confessions.

With A bunch of random people:
Sometime in March or April there's going to be a Rock Lotto assembled my Moe! Staiano as a benefit for the Black Box in Oakland. Details forthcoming. Stay tuned.
